Visit to The Endless Turn and Return at The Arc and The Gate House Studios

London Alt Photo November 27, 2025

Join us this December for a special Christmas social out of London! We'll be heading down to Winchester for the day.

We will meet outside The Arc, Winchester at 1.30pm.

If you are traveling down from London, we will be on the train leaving Waterloo at 12.09pm. We will meet outside Nero Express at Waterloo station before boarding the train.

Once at The Arc, we will hear from artist Eileen White, as she leads us on an informal tour of her exhibition, The Endless Turn and Return. Following which, Eileen will take us to visit The Gate House studios, an event & gallery space set in a beautiful disused Victorian cemetery/nature reserve. Eileen runs The Gate House alongside Suna Imre.

Eileen White works within the expanded field of print, installation and artist books to explore and make visible her experience of being in a specific landscape, alongside an awareness of our entanglements to place, history and our impact on Nature.

She creates work using an ethical and caring framework. As such, she researches alternative ways to think about her relationship with the Earth that are less environmentally destructive, using slow, low-tech, analogue print and photographic processes.

The visits will finish around 3.30/4pm. After which we will have a drink at a local pub if you wish to stay a little longer.

Anyone is welcome to join us for this visit, just book a free ticket so we know you are coming! Open to all ages.
